Hey! Say! JUMP is a ten-member Japanese boy band under the Japanese talent agency Johnny & Associates. The name Hey! Say! refers to the fact that all the members were born in the Heisei period and JUMP is an acronym for Johnny's Ultra Music Power.[1] Like agency seniors Hikaru Genji and V6, the group is split into two subgroups: Hey! Say! BEST (Boys Excellent Select Team) and Hey! Say! 7 (not to be confused with the temporary group of the same name), which consists of the five oldest members and four youngest members respectively.

On September 23, 2001, he entered Johnny & Associates as a
trainee. Inoo Kei, a member of the same group as him, was also there
during that time. From the time he joined the agency (2001) to the year
2004, he had the most high pitched voice in the history of Johnny's.
Which eventually led him up to become the leader of Johnny's Jr. Two
months later, he was chosen to be the leader of Ya-Ya-yah. They released a CD which was very unusual because they were still members of Johnny's Junior.

Takaki Yuyais a Japanese singer, actor and member of the J-pop group Hey! Say! JUMP. He is currently under the management of Johnny & Associates. He was born in Ibaraki, Osaka and resides in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area. he was born in Osaka Japan.
On June 12, 2004, he entered Johnny & Associates as a trainee. He became a member of J.J Express.
On April 3 of 2007, he began activities with Hey! Say! 7, with fellow Hey! Say! JUMP members, Daiki Arioka, Ryosuke Yamada, Yuto Nakajima and Yuri Chinen, starting with a public performance at a KAT-TUN spring concert tour.

Yaotome Hikaru entered Johnny's Entertainment in December of 2002. Though at first he only appeared with Ya-Ya-yah, he was added as an official member after two other members left. Along with Yabu Kota, he often held the spotlight within the group. In 2006 he was named as part of the "Kitty" section of the temporary unit Kitty GYM.

Nakajima Yuto was a member of Johnny's Jrs and the sub-group J.J. Express.
He joined Johnny's Jr. in 2004. Due to his popularity he is often given
bit parts in productions with his seniors and is featured as a dancer
ss well. He is said to be very close with KAT-TUN's member Kamenashi Kazuya. He appeared in the PV for the single "Seishun Amigo" by Shuuji to Akira as the lead back-up dancer and he also appears in the PV for TOKIO's "Jibun no Tame ni". Morimoto Ryutaro joined Johnny's Entertainment on August 12th, 2004
after he passed an audition for the Ya-Ya-yah variety program. In 2005
he was placed in the group J.J. Express and later was a member of the
group Tap Kids. He debuted with the group Hey! Say! JUMP on September
24th, 2007.
On June 28, 2011, Japanese entertainment magazine Shunkan Josei
published a story revealing that Morimoto was caught smoking a cigarette
on camera. Images from the issue shows him smoking at 14 in January
2010 and at 15 in May 2010. When questioned, Morimoto stated that "it's
fine, don't worry." Johnny's Entertainment quickly issued a public
apology and planned to suspend all of Morimoto's activities
indefinitely. He will not appear in SUMMARY 2011 and Hey! Say! JUMP will continue their activities as a nine member group now.
Around the begining of January 2012, it is was announced that
Morimoto Ryutaro chose to pursue his studies and just continue to
support Hey! Say! JUMP's activities even being not a member.
His younger brother Morimoto Shintaro is also a member of Johnny's Entertainment and together they are often called by fans "The Morimoto Brothers".
